Abstract Preparation and Submission Guidelines
Abstracts should be written in English and should consist of a single paragraph of no more than 250 words that clearly conveys the major advance and significance of the work. Each abstract should begin with a brief description of the scientific question, followed by a clear and concise description of the main results (without extensive experimental detail), and should end with a summary of the findings and their significance. Please do not include references, figures, or tables in your abstracts. Please download the Word template file to prepare your abstract according to our formatting requirements. Please proofread your text carefully and send it by e-mail to abstractsbd2013@ijs.si no later than 31. 7. 2013. Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt. From those submitted before 31. 5. 2013, the Scientific Commitee will select a limited number of abstracts for oral presentations.

Guidelines for poster preparation
Please ensure that your poster does not exceed the dimensions of 80 cm x 100 cm.
A poster should be simple, self‐contained and self‐explanatory, clearly presenting the major results and conclusions of the study. Please use clear, visible graphics and large type. Titles and headings should be a minimum of 50 point size, while 25 point size is suitable for text. Minimise the narrative and use short, separated paragraphs, preferably using a clear sans serif font. Titles and captions should be short and easy to read. Each figure or table should have a short, descriptive heading of one or two lines. Additional essential information should be provided below in a legend.
