Kranjska Gora
September 13-15, 2001

The 4th SBS Meeting will be organized at Kranjska Gora , in the Alpine valley known by skiing competitions, pleasant walks and hikes into the neighbouring hills and mountains. The venue is Kompas Hotel **** in the vicinity of the town center. It offers a refurbished conference hall accepting up to 200 participants, comfortable rooms, a swimming pool and much more. Kranjska gora is situated only 10 km from both the Italian and the Austrian border and has hourly bus connections from Ljubljana and Kranj (near Ljubljana airport). Ljubljana is just 85 km away (1 hour drive by car).

Information for speakers: overhead, slide and computer projectors will be avilable in the lecture room. We recommend you to bring your own laptop computer to avoid any problems with system incomaptibilities, processor speed and other settings.
Best posters will be awarded. An ad-hoc committee will evaluate short oral presentations and posters for clearness of presentation, overall impression and eventual new approaches to presenting scientific results.

The meeting will start on Thursday, September 13 at 9 a.m. with the opening ceremony, followed by the opening lecture by N. Ban (ETH, Switzerland) on the tertiary structure of the ribosome. There will be 3 full working days with 1.5 h breaks for lunch and dinner and two coffee breaks daily. Closing lecture will be presented by M. Clinton (Roslin Institute, Scotland) on Saturday (September 15) evening.

  List of posters by topic (in RTF format; open in Word). Posters should be 100 cm wide by 130 cm tall. Please mount your poster in the morning of the first day of the meeting. Posters should be on display until the last session of the congress.
